The human being, the greatest creations of Almighty are living in another superlative creation Earth, which is the only apartment for exercise of human life, though scientists are trying to discover life in outer space. Due to the civilization, modernization and industrialization from the ancient period, we have made to our world a tremendous development. But some egotistical and provocative endeavor unrest situations are materialized, which brought agony to the living being. If we look especially in Africa and Asia, a large amount of population are living below the poverty line, which have not enough food or even clean water. Various diseases are blended with their daily life. Tens of thousands of human are died each day for the lack of food, water, nutrition, treatment etc. In most of the areas, the blessing of education is beyond dream. Are these not truly regrettable especially in this trial-blazing high-tech digitalized state-of-art society?

Charles Darwin says, “Those who survive are the ones most adaptable to change”. We are in a period, where human endeavor is mostly to fight against global poverty. It is high time to wake up for remove these intricacies. If we work together like relief efforts of Tsunami, we will definitely able to builds a fairer, more prosperous and more equitable world. We should dedicate ourselves to feel a true love for all living beings both great and small, like the old sailor of the story ‘The Ancient Mariner” of S.T. Coleridge. We learned the old sailor was relieved his curse when he had felt a true love for the water-snakes and blessed them from his heart.

In this critical juncture with First Class honors degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science/Physics and Masters Degree in Applied Finance, Electrical Engineering from Stanford Mr. Matt Barrie has come up with his company Freelancer, which brings a great opportunity for human to become economic solvent. দারিদ্রতা ও বেকারত্ব যাক মিউজিয়ামে

এক ঝাঁক বেরসিক কাকের বেসুরো স্লোগানে খুব ভোরে ঘুম ভেঙ্গে গেল জেকের আলী’র। গত রাতে ভাল ঘুম হয়নি। তাই বিছানা ছাড়তে মোটেও ইচ্ছে করছে না। কিন্তু আউট ‘ল’ কাকের কনসার্টে কান প্রায় হ্যাং হওয়ার উপক্রম। মনে হয় রিস্টার্ট করতে হবে। জেকেরের হার্টডিস্কে (হার্ট+হার্ডডিস্ক) বেশ কিছু ব্যাড সেক্টর পড়েছে। গত রাতে জেকেরের ঘুম না হওয়ার অন্যতম কারণ; উচ্চ শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত জেকের আলীর স্কুল পড়–য়া মেয়ের পরীক্ষার রেজিস্ট্রেশন ফি জমা দেয়ার শেষ দিন, অথচ পকেট নামক হার্ডডিস্কে নেই একটি কানাকড়িও। অসংখ্য বন্ধু ও প্রতিবেশীর কাছ থেকে ঋণ নিয়ে পরিশোধে ব্যর্থ হওয়ায় জেকের আলীর নামটি মোটা দাগে ঋণখেলাপির তালিকায় শোভা পাচ্ছে।

আজ থেকে ১৫ বছর আগে পিতা সৎ ও মেধাবী স্কুলশিক্ষক মিহির আলী মৃত্যুর সময় রেখে যান বেশ মোটা অংকের ব্যাংকঋনের দেনা আর টিনের দো’চালা ২টি রুমসহ একটি রাজপ্রাসাদ। বিনা চিকিৎসায় মা মারা গেছেন প্রায় ২০ বছর পুর্বে। পিতার মৃত্যুর পর ২ ভাই, ১ বোন ও সে নিজে এ ৪জন সম্বলিত সংসার নামক ‘এলিয়েন’ জেকেরের ঘাড়ে চেপে বসে বেশ পাকাপোক্তভাবে। পিতা জীবিত থাকতে তিনি খেয়ে না খেয়ে হলেও ছেলে মেয়েদের লেখাপড়ার বিষয়ে কোন আপস করেননি। তাই পিতার সঠিক গাইডলাইনে জেকের আলী ভাল রেজাল্ট করে উচ্চ শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত হয়ে মাত্র এক পাতা করে কয়েকটি সার্টিফিকেট অর্জন করেছেন। আর সেই সার্টিফিকেট নামক ঐ আজব কাগজগুলি জামানত দিয়ে অনেক চেষ্টা করেও জোটাতে পারেননি চাকরি নামের সেই অধরা বস্তুটিকে। কিন্তু তাতে কি যায় আসে? ‘সংসার’ তো আর লোকাল ট্রেনের মত যেখানে সেখানে থামবে না। ‘সংসার’ ও ‘সময়’। দু’টোর আদ্যক্ষর ‘স’। কি দারুন মিল। এরা একে অপরের পরিপূরক। সময় যেমন ব্রেকবিহিন যানের মত চলে তেমনি তেমনি সংসারও চলতে থাকে বিরতিহীনভাবে যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত প্রাণের স্পন্দন থাকে। তাই সংসার এক্সপ্রেসকে সচল রাখতে অর্থ উপাজর্নের জন্য শুরু করেন প্রাইভেট টিউশানি। কিন্তু টিউশনির সামান্য আয়ে সংসার ড্রাইভ করতে তিনি রীতিমত হাঁপিয়ে উঠেছেন।

জেকের আলী ভাবে জীবনটাকে যদি আবার ফরম্যাট করে নতুন করে উইন্ডোজ দেয়া যেত কিংবা আন-’ডু’ করা যেত! কিন্তু খোঁজ নিয়ে দেখা গেল প্রযুক্তির সর্বশেষ ভার্ষনেও সেটি সম্ভব নয়। নিউটন যেমন সাধারণ আপেল গাছ থেকে ঝরে পড়তে দেখে মাধ্যকর্ষণ সূত্র আবিস্কার করেন তেমনি সেও যদি সীমিত আয়ে সংসার চালানোর ফর্মূলা আবিস্কার করতে পারত! কেন যে উন্নত বিশ্ব স্বল্প আয়ে মানুষের মৌলিক চাহিদা পূরণের প্রেসক্রিপশন দিচ্ছে না। তারা কাড়ি কাড়ি টাকা খরচ করছে হার্ডন কলাইডারের মাধ্যমে সৃষ্টিরহস্য ও ‘ঈশ্বর কণা’ আবিস্কারের জন্য। জেকেরের কাছে মনে হয় বিজ্ঞানীরা কি বোকা!

হ্যাঁ, এ ধরণের অস্যখ্য ফ্রি ভেক্টর/ক্লিপার্ট ছবি জেকেরের মত হাজারো কোটি মানব নামক প্রাণীর হার্ডডিস্কে আছে, শুধু আমাদের দেশে নয় বরং সমগ্র বিশ্বে। সংকুচিত চাকরির হাটে ক্রমবর্ধমান জনসাধারণের ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ার ফলে চাকরির হাট আজ চ্যাপ্টা হয়ে গেছে। ঠিক এ সন্ধিক্ষণে দরিদ্র ও বেকার মানুষের জন্য ‘ইন্টারনেটে আয়’ বয়ে এনেছে এক অফুরন্ত সুখের বার্তা। বিশেষ করে আমাদের মত জনসম্পদের দেশে এটি একটি শক্তিশালী এন্টিবায়োটিক।
 

দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার উন্নয়শীল একটি দেশ, বাংলাদেশ যেখানে কানায় কানায় পূর্ণ অবারিত প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য্য, মানুষের সৌহাদ্যপূর্ণ সহাবস্থান, শান্তিপূর্ণ জীবনযাপন, পরস্পরের প্রতি আতিথিয়েতা আর আছে কোমল মমতাপূর্ণ হৃদয়। আর আছে বিপুল সংখ্যক শিক্ষিত, অর্ধশিক্ষিত ও প্রশিক্ষিত জনবল, যাদের আছে অসীম সাহস, দক্ষতা, কর্মস্পৃহা ও  সততা। ১৬ কোটি বাঙালীর এ বাংলাদেশে অযুত, লক্ষ, নিযুত, কোটি মেধাসম্পন্ন তরুণদের মধ্যে বেকার পদবীর সংখ্যা ইনফিনিটি। ফলে নিরুপায় হয়ে আমাদেরকে বিদেশে এক্সপোর্ট করতে হয় মেধা ও শ্রম আর আমদানী করতে হয় নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় সামগ্রী। যদিও পোষাক শিল্প আমাদের গর্ব, আমাদের অহংকার।

ফরাসী প্রবাদ আছে  We have no coal, we have no oil, we have no gas, we have no choice যদিও আমাদের দেশে কয়লা ও গ্যাস আছে, তবে তা পর্যাপ্ত নয়। আমাদের দেশের এ বিপুল সংখ্যক মেধাবী তরুণদের জন্য বৈধভাবে অর্থ উপার্জনে ইন্টারনেট বয়ে এনেছে অর্থনৈতিক মুক্তির পথ। এসো হে তরুন অর্থনৈতিক সমৃদ্ধির পথে। আমাদের আছে ভালোবাসা, আছে দেশ প্রেম, আছে মেধা, আছে অদম্য শক্তি, জয় করার ইচ্ছা, আছে সুন্দর ভবিষ্যত। তাই জয় আমাদেরই হবে, হবে মেধা ও তারুন্যের জয় আর দারিদ্রতা ও বেকারত্বের আবাসস্থল হবে মিউজিয়ামে।
